At the annual Milan Salone del Mobile, we found an industry deeply unconcerned with people, society or the way in which we live. Thankfully, the city itself still has enough aggression, ugliness and spirit to make it interesting.
When not lamenting the lack of relevance of the design industry, we looked to the skies instead.
